Faith, Hope & Love Week
Midtown Vineyard recently participated in this event. It was an opportunity to show the love of Jesus to people in places where they didn't expect it. It was the body of Christ going to the streets, sharing the joy we have in being followers of Jesus & participating in mission projects serving our community.
Midtown spearheaded a food drive to benefit the Food Pantry at Northwood Christian Church. We collected 95 bags of groceries and presented a concert at Noodles & Co., in Broad Ripple. 15% of the proceeds from food sales were donated to the Food Pantry by Noodles & Co. A vegetable garden was also planted at Northwood Christian Church which enabled the Food Pantry to supply fresh vegetables to its participants.
A neighborhood clean-up was scheduled in the 39th and Graceland area, and water & prayer were offered to those enjoying the beauty of the Monon Trail and Broad Ripple areas as part of the week-long event.
